Technical Support Technician

Location: Allen, TX 75002

Work Arrangement: Onsite | Shift-Based | 24/7 Operations

Pay Rate: $22 $24/hour

Duration: 6 12 Month Contract-to-Hire
Job Summary

3+ years of experience in Technical Support / IT Support.

Strong experience providing remote technical support via phone, email, and remote tools.

Troubleshooting experience with network, system, and communication-related issues.

Knowledge of LAN/WAN, routers, firewalls, and basic networking.

Experience with incident management, ticketing, escalation, and SLA requirements.

Knowledge of VoIP or communication systems.

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, documentation, and customer service skills.

Experience documenting technical issues, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and knowledge-base articles.

Ability to monitor system performance, service metrics, and recurring technical issues.

Comfortable working in a 24/7 shift-based onsite environment and managing multiple priorities.

Experience collaborating with engineering and cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues.

Associate degree or equivalent technical education required.

Preferred certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+.

Preferred experience with RF/Network, mobile communication technologies, and AI-enabled technical tools.
