The Role

Define requirements for designing, developing, building, and maintaining tools, processes, and data architecture for a Model Based Enterprise.
Analyze existing and proposed systems, developing technical, structural, and organizational specifications.
Lead stakeholders in determining conditions and designing fully functional and secure digital solutions.
Develop long-range objectives and strategic plans for digital engineering innovations and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Generate and present business case analyses for digital enterprise opportunities to executive leadership.
Enable digital transformation through research, new technical approaches, and development and testing of functionality.

What You'll Need

Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program, with 9 years of relevant experience (or 7 years with a Master's, 4 years with a PhD.).
Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies to support design, analysis, verification, and validation of complex ship systems.
Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM), data environments, and product modeling processes.
Ability to lead projects and manage all aspects of project management.
Familiarity with Navy shipbuilding programs and requirements.
Experience with digital twin, simulation, and digital thread concepts.
