GIS Software Developer

MARS Solutions Group is looking for an experienced GIS Software Developer for a remote role. Our client is a Natural gas and electricity industry Leader looking for high-quality talent to make a difference. They are known to respect a traditional work week and often extend contracts for added job security and stability

The ideal candidate will have an electrical engineering background/bachelors, GE Smallworld experience, or both ideally. In addition, they must have C# .Net skillset/experience.

Details:

The resource will work under the direction of Client's GIS Applications Team Leader and contribute to ongoing projects.

The assigned resource must meet the following qualifications:

- Proficient in Microsoft C# and object-oriented development

- Experienced with ESRI v10.1 toolsets

- Familiar with Schneider Electric's ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management System) platform and related CIM import files.

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in similar environments

Deliverables include:

- Active participation in daily standups, sprint planning, and code reviews

- Development and maintenance of application components using C# and ESRI tools

- Integration support for Schneider Electric's ADMS

- Weekly status reports
