Job Description

Hire Resolve is helping leading engineering firms across the United States to recruit experienced engineering professionals for a variety of mid-senior to senior-level roles. These opportunities are ideal for engineers who thrive in technically complex environments, take ownership of projects, and contribute strategically to business and operational success.

This role may suit candidates with experience in design, operations, project execution, process optimization, compliance, or leadership within an engineering-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, or contribute to engineering projects from concept through execution and delivery
  • Apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex technical and operational challenges
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with project managers, operations teams, clients, and stakeholders
  • Ensure designs, systems, and processes meet industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements
  • Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, calculations, and specifications
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, performance, and cost
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, or oversight to junior engineers and technical staff
  • Participate in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management activities
  • Interface with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies as required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, or related discipline)
  • 7–15+ years of relevant engineering experience, depending on role and specialization
  • Proven experience working on complex engineering projects in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, energy, infrastructure, or technology environment
  • Strong technical knowledge within your engineering discipline
  • Experience with industry standards, codes, and regulatory compliance applicable to your field
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently while also leading or contributing within multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred (role-dependent)
  • Proficiency with relevant engineering software, tools, and systems
