We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join a leading university hospital, renowned for its advanced medical care and research. This role offers the opportunity to work within a specialized Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, providing top-tier medical services to critically ill children.

The Role

• Provide intensive medical care to children of all ages on a state-of-the-art 26-bed intensive care unit.
• Specialize in the emergency and initial care of premature and ill newborns as part of a Level 1 Perinatal Center.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including pediatric specialists, surgeons, and radiologists.
• Participate in neonatal and pediatric intensive care transport services.
• Work with the latest in ventilation and monitoring technology.
• Engage in potential future activities within a tele-intensive care network.

What You'll Need

• Successful completion of nursing education (with a pediatric specialization), or as a pediatric/child nurse.
• A specialized qualification in anesthesia and intensive care nursing is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated empathy, strong communication skills, and a high sense of responsibility.
• Loyalty, commitment, and flexibility in performing duties.
• A positive attitude towards interprofessional teamwork.
• For international applicants: minimum B2 German language proficiency and recognition of foreign nursing qualifications.
