The firm offers a diverse client base, significant client interaction, opportunities for professional growth, and a healthy work-life balance outside of busy season.\nResponsibilities\n\n Prepare and review individual income tax returns (Forms 1040) for individuals and business owners.\n Prepare tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and estates.\n Identify tax planning opportunities and communicate recommendations to clients and partners.\n Conduct tax research and resolve federal, state, and local tax issues.\n Respond to IRS and state tax notices and assist with tax examinations when necessary.\n Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.\n Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior staff members.\n Collaborate with partners on tax planning strategies and special consulting projects.\n Stay current on changes in tax legislation and accounting standards.\n\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Taxation is a plus.\n3–6+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.\nStrong experience preparing individual tax returns is required.\nCPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification preferred.\n\n48501
