BigID Technical Lead

Role Summary
This position involves overseeing and leading the technical operations and strategic development of a privacy-focused platform within a dynamic organization. The role combines product ownership, technical leadership, and platform management responsibilities, with a primary focus on platform stability, maintenance initiatives, and future integrations. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to ensure platform health, support migration efforts, and drive operational excellence in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Product Owner and Technical Lead for the platform, providing leadership to support and operational teams.
• Collaborate with privacy stakeholders to gather and prioritize business requirements, translating them into actionable technical solutions.
• Lead platform maintenance efforts, including upgrades, migrations, and support activities to ensure platform reliability and performance.
• Manage operational challenges stemming from vendor updates and product changes, driving stabilization initiatives.
• Develop and execute plans for platform enhancements aligned with strategic objectives.
• Provide technical guidance for future system integrations and expansion projects involving the platform and other enterprise solutions.
• Support troubleshooting, administration, and operational best practices to maintain platform health.
• Partner with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver successful platform outcomes.
• Contribute to strategic planning, including the development of the platform roadmap and long-term improvements.
• Monitor platform performance and support initiatives that improve stability, reduce backlog, and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Technical Lead, or similar leadership role managing platform operations.
• Hands-on experience with privacy discovery or data intelligence platforms, preferably BigID Core or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of privacy regulations such as CCPA and GDPR.
• Demonstrated expertise in platform support, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
• Experience designing, developing, or supporting integrations via REST APIs.
• Scripting capabilities supporting automation, system maintenance, and integrations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Successful track record leading platform migrations, upgrades, or transformations.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into technical implementations.

Publishing Pay Range: $62.00 - $69.00 hourly
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, combining in-office and remote work.
