The Role • Provide accurate and professional British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation for spoken English and BSL. • Deliver high-quality Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) services. • Support the organisation's mission and values through exceptional service. • Maintain professional conduct, including punctuality and preparedness for shifts. • Adapt quickly to new technologies and evolving service needs. • Multitask effectively while interpreting and managing call-related tasks. What You'll Need • Level 6 NVQ Certificate in British Sign Language. • Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Sign Language Interpreting. • Previous professional BSL interpretation experience (3-5 years preferred). • Strong understanding of Deaf culture and communication nuances. • Technical proficiency for interpreting in a remote support environment. • Excellent interpersonal, listening, and organisational skills.
