Job Description
RCL Services is seeking experienced Wind Turbine Technicians to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and major component projects on utility-scale wind turbines throughout the United States.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and corrective repairs
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control system issues
- Execute work in accordance with OEM procedures and safety requirements
- Complete service reports, work orders, and project documentation
- Support major component replacements including gearboxes, generators, main bearings, blades, yaw systems, and other drivetrain components
- Travel as required to support customer projects
Compensation
$24–$52 per hour, based on experience, certifications, platform qualifications, and project scope.

Technicians with prior experience performing maintenance, troubleshooting, or major component work on Siemens, V82, or similar utility-scale wind turbine platforms are strongly encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to climb wind turbines and work at heights up to 300 feet
- Ability to work in confined spaces and varying weather conditions
- Ability to meet site-specific physical and safety requirements
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and troubleshooting principles
Preferred Experience
- Wind turbine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Major component replacement experience
- PLC, converter, and electrical diagnostics experience
- Experience on utility-scale wind turbine platforms
- GWO BST, BTT, ART, OSHA 10, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR/AED, or equivalent industry certifications
- Rigging, lifting, crane/hoist, and signaling experience
- Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, along with HSA options, available from day one.
