Senior Product Controller

Some Product Control roles are about reporting yesterday's numbers.

This isn't one of them.

We are working with one of the most intellectually stimulating investment firms in the market, where Product Control sits at the heart of the investment process alongside Front Office, Risk, Technology and Fund Accounting.

You'll be joining a highly collaborative global hedge fund with supporting sophisticated macro trading strategies. Rather than operating in traditional silos, you'll work across multiple teams, helping shape valuations, P&L integrity, automation and new business initiatives.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys understandingwhy numbers move rather than simply reporting them.

The role will involve:

• Owning daily P&L and valuation analysis across complex fixed income products

• Working directly with traders to explain P&L drivers and investigate valuation issues

• Partnering with Risk, Analytics and Technology to enhance valuation models and controls

• Supporting new product launches and onboarding new trading activity

• Driving automation and process improvements using technology and data

• Playing a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial information across the business

We're looking for someone who has:

1. Demonstrable Product Control or Valuation experience
2. Strong Fixed Income product knowledge
3. Experience gained within a leading investment bank or buy-side investment firm
4. Advanced Excel, with Python or automation experience viewed favourably
