DFT Engineer

Introduction:

The DFT Engineer position at Sivaltech Inc involves working on ASIC/SoC designs, implementing Design for Testability (DFT) techniques, and ensuring the efficient testing of semiconductor devices. The role requires expertise in DFT tools, verification, testing, and debugging to support the overall product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Implement DFT strategies for ASIC/SoC designs
• Work on Scan, JTAG, BIST, and MBIST techniques
• Generate test patterns and verify DFT functionality
• Support silicon bring-up, post-silicon debug, and failure analysis
• Utilize DFT tools like Synopsys DFT Compiler, Siemens Tessent, or Cadence Encounter Test
• Write scripts in Python, Perl, or TCL for automation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for ATE/production testing

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in DFT implementation for ASIC/SoC designs
• Hands-on experience with Scan, JTAG, BIST, and MBIST
• Experience with DFT verification, test pattern generation, and debugging
• Experience supporting silicon bring-up, post-silicon debug, and failure analysis
• Knowledge of SystemVerilog and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ATE/production testing
