Senior Payroll Analyst (US & LATAM Payroll Focus)

Our client is Seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist with 5+ years of payroll experience across the Americas and LATAM, including US multi-state payroll covering 30+ states and organizations with 2,000+ employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Scope & Geographic Coverage:

• Process one or more of the following payrolls with a team: US multi-state, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, and Uruguay
• Ensure payroll is delivered on time and accurately
• Audit other members of the team's work
• Assist with the coordination and completion of quarter and year activities

Process-Focus:

• Identify and escalate all opportunities for improvement, including potential solutions
• Document payroll processes and obtain formal sign-off.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Five+ years of payroll experience in the Americas and LATAM. Experience must include more than 30 US states and companies with more than 2,000 employees.
• Systems Proficiency: Prior experience processing payroll in Workday with an understanding of HCM, Comp, Benefits, Time & Attendance, and Absence.
• Payroll Proficiency: Complete knowledge and full understanding of the area of payroll, time tracking, absence, and payroll tax disciplines.
• Compliance & Audit: Clear understanding of SOX, Internal Audit, data privacy, etc., requirements and regulations.

Desired Qualifications:

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) Certification
• Experience implementing Workday
