Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias

Annual Salary: Up to £48,000

Working Hours: Sunday - Thursday - 07:00-15:30

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our dedicated engineering team. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing all site production plant equipment. You will be instrumental in ensuring all machinery operates at peak efficiency and compliance with all legislative, health & safety, and production standards.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Respond to breakdowns and urgent production demands.
• Conduct daily maintenance of all factory equipment, site services, and facilities, including electrical, water, and fire systems.
• Perform electrical fault finding, maintenance, and installation as required.
• Execute current planned and preventative maintenance schedules and complete identified actions.
• Carry out and complete engineering work requests.
• Complete all necessary paperwork as required by various departments.
• Issue permits to contractors as required.
• Ensure the workshop and working areas adhere to GMP standards and maintain walkaway standards.
• Perform any other duties as required.
• Work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Time-served engineering background.
• Recognised engineering qualifications ideally Electrical.
• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is preferable.
• Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
• Good communication skills.
