Job Description
The Cybersecurity Compliance Technical Analyst will report to the Cybersecurity Compliance Manager and will support day-to-day operations for cybersecurity compliance and risk management across enterprise platforms, with a focus on Microsoft Purview and Azure. This role will help monitor compliance with company policy, statutory and regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations through data collection, analysis, reporting, audit support, and coordination with Cybersecurity, IT, and business teams. The Analyst will also assist in managing and maintaining enterprise artificial intelligence platforms, including user administration, controlled feature introduction, and cost management. Detailed Description: Implement and maintain functions related to risk management and cybersecurity compliance in Microsoft Purview, Entra, Intune, and Azure. Assist with implementing and managing enterprise-level artificial intelligence platforms including user management, phased introduction of features, and cost controls. Work with Cybersecurity, IT, and business teams to configure, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise systems that support security, operational, and compliance objectives. Collect, analyze, and summarize data used to monitor cybersecurity compliance programs. Prepare compliance information for audiences ranging from team managers to executive leadership and the Board of Directors. Track compliance activities across business groups and support timely follow-up on related tasks. Support the Cybersecurity Compliance Manager in conducting risk assessments and audits. Maintain project documentation, status updates, and formal or informal reports as needed. Research solutions within existing architectures and identify potential alternatives when needed. Participate in the following as needed and directed: Containment, remediation, and restoration efforts during cybersecurity incidents. Disaster recovery and business continuity activities. Coordination with international operations that may meet during overnight hours. Maintain current knowledge of cybersecurity threats and changing technical environments. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Self-starter with curiosity, sound judgment, and a desire to solve problems and learn new technologies. Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Azure and especially with Microsoft Purview in an enterprise environment. Knowledge and understanding of security protocols and principles. Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization. Ability to work under stress, meet multiple deadlines and maintain a calm and professional demeanor when adversity is encountered. Ability to interact professionally and courteously with staff, management, and operations personnel. Participate fully in all Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) initiatives and safety programs. Must be available to work overtime or unusual hours, including occasional weekends, holidays, or overnight hours when necessary (less than 10%). Occasional travel required (less than 10%). Demonstrated ability in the following competencies: Build and Maintain Effective Relationships Develop Self and Others Technical and Business Acumen Drive for Results Customer focus Decision Quality Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or relevant field of study, or 2 years of equivalent work experience. Basic understanding of security compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework) and/or regulations (e.g. HIPAA). Strong analytical skills, including the ability to process large volumes of text without using AI, highlighting key points without losing sight of the nuances. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to structure and format written communications without using AI. Well organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple assigned tasks. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field of study. Experience working in an information security role. Familiarity with at least one scripting language
