Job Description

Your key responsibilities would include:

• Selecting produce according to size and ripeness; grading, packing, and loading it into transporters.
• Operating and maintaining farm systems including irrigation etc.
• Crop Maintenance
• Follow all quality assurance, food safety, and biosecurity procedures.
• Maintain accurate farm records, including spray and fertiliser diaries.
• Assist in achieving farm productivity targets and operational KPIs.
• Perform general farm maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Complete any other duties as directed by supervisors.
• Follow all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
• Conduct pre-start checks on machinery and equipment as required.

Desired Skills and Experience

We are looking for individuals with the following capabilities:

• Previous experience in farming, agriculture, fresh produce, horticulture, or a similar industry preferred.
• Highly regarded - Medium rigid licence
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and quality standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience operating farm machinery or equipment is advantageous.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Ability to work rostered hours, including early morning starts.
