The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks.
• Position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety.
• Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily tasks.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established procedures.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory for consideration.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders/stairs on railcars.
• Open availability and willingness to undergo background checks, physical, and drug screening.
