The Role • Operate heavy machinery (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers. • Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks. • Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard. • Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality. • Coordinate container movements with yard personnel and supervisors. • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established protocols. What You'll Need • A valid driver's license is mandatory. • Previous experience operating heavy equipment or machinery in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. • Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and holidays. • Basic communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders/stairs. • Must pass pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screening.
