Facility Technician

North Austin Manufacturing Company is looking for a facilities technician. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide proper maintenance and repair of the factory, including building and grounds as required.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs on production and facility equipment
Diagnose and repair electrical systems, controls, wiring, and components
Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections
Respond to urgent maintenance requests across the facility promptly
Assist with inventory management of maintenance supplies, spare parts, and equipment
Perform minor facility repairs (lighting, doors, fire extinguishers, etc.) and identify safety or maintenance hazards
Assist with installation, testing, and validation of new equipment
Assist with facility support tasks, including groundskeeping as required.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Skills and Physical Requirements:
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and equipment repair
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to climb stairs and ladders and work in confined spaces around machinery
Must be willing to work weekends and overtime as needed
Pay: $22 Hr
