Apparel Sales Specialist

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Specialist, Apparel to deliver an outstanding in-store experience for every athlete. In this role, you'll lead with service in our apparel department-welcoming customers, asking the right questions, and recommending the best performance and lifestyle gear for their sport and style. You'll maintain high merchandising and visual standards, ensure stock is organized and sized correctly, and support fitting room service, markdowns, and inventory tasks. Working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, you'll help drive sales, support omni-channel services, and uphold our inclusive, community-focused culture while growing your retail skills and career opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert service in the apparel department, greeting and engaging athletes to understand sport and style needs
• Maintain merchandising standards, size runs, folding, and visual displays to company guidelines
• Ensure product is well-stocked, tagged, priced correctly, and organized on the sales floor and in backroom
• Stay current on brand, fit, and performance features to recommend the right apparel and accessories
• Process transactions, returns, and exchanges accurately while protecting company assets
• Support omni-channel services such as online order pickup, ship-from-store, and returns
• Monitor fitting rooms, assist with sizing, and uphold loss-prevention and safety standards
• Collaborate with teammates to meet sales, service, and productivity goals
• Assist with markdowns, inventory counts, and incoming shipment processing
• Uphold company policies and contribute to an inclusive, energetic team culture
