- Experience – 10+ years of systems engineering experience in the space industry, or 4+ years in a senior/lead role.
- Technical Expertise – Deep knowledge of digital and analog electronics design (mixed‑signal, high‑speed). Proficiency with Requirements Management Environment (RME) tools. Experience with radiation testing (TID, SEE) and mitigation techniques. Skilled in firmware/software integration for embedded microcontrollers/FPGA.
- Testing & Validation – Proven track record designing and executing electrical, EMI/EMC, thermal vacuum, vibration, and functional test plans. Ability to interpret and apply test data to design improvement.
- Soft Skills – Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities. Team leadership and mentorship.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with RF processing system architecture and design including testing.
- Experience with space‑qualified microprocessors or FPGA families.
- Knowledge of system power calculations throughout a design cycle for space.
- Prior work with space‑qualifying standards: NASA SP‑3008, ECSS‑E‑ST‑20C, MIL‑STD‑1553, SpaceWire, etc.
Compensation: Base salary range is $130,000- $180,000, depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus. SEAKR offers a variety of paid leave, such as vacation, sick, bereavement, and FMLA.
