Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on IT Analyst V to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of machine learning pipelines and infrastructure supporting AI solutions in a healthcare technology environment. This individual will help bridge the gap between data science and software engineering by developing automated workflows, supporting cloud infrastructure, improving data reliability, and ensuring AI and machine learning services are secure, scalable, and reliable in production.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. Candidates must be eligible for permanent hire.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting machine learning workflows, automated testing, model deployment, and version control.
  • Deploy machine learning models as scalable APIs and microservices.
  • Monitor model performance, data drift, and overall system health in production.
  • Support reliable and efficient model deployment processes using tools such as MLflow, Git, or similar technologies.
  • Develop and optimize ETL and data pipelines for model training and inference.
  • Transform healthcare data, including FHIR and HL7, into clean and reliable datasets.
  • Support feature stores and data layers to ensure consistency between training and production environments.
  • Partner with backend engineering teams to integrate machine learning outputs into enterprise applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Python code.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
  • Use Docker and Kubernetes to package and orchestrate ML workloads.
  • Support cloud infrastructure and production deployment environments.
  • Ensure data handling and deployments align with established security and compliance standards, including HIPAA and HITRUST.
Must-Haves
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in software engineering or data engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting machine learning in production environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
  • Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as PyTorch or Scikit-learn.
  • Experience with MLOps or workflow tools such as Airflow, Prefect, BentoML, or Kubeflow.
  • Experience with data processing frameworks such as Pandas, Spark, or dbt.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience deploying or supporting Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Familiarity with LangChain or similar frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Go, Java, or another compiled programming language.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment such as healthcare or financial services.
  • Experience with healthcare data standards, including FHIR and HL7.
  • Understanding of API design and microservices architecture.
  • Experience working with HIPAA and HITRUST security or compliance standards.
