SEN / SEND Tutor | Lancaster, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are looking for passionate educators to join a dynamic organization committed to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is an opportunity to work flexibly and make a significant impact within your community while supporting vulnerable learners.

The Role

• Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Offer in-person, hybrid, and remote tutoring opportunities.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, referred by local authorities and schools.
• Plan and deliver trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring sessions.
• Report on lesson progress and provide feedback on student development.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for young people with diverse learning needs.

What You'll Need

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed).
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Based in the UK with the right to work.
