The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) for loading and unloading shipping containers.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis accurately within the intermodal yard.
• Stack, move, and organize containers according to operational demands.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate container movements and daily tasks.
• Uphold safety protocols to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Previous experience operating heavy equipment in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Open availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
