Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with strong knowledge of data science methodologies, statistical techniques, and machine learning algorithms. 
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience analyzing complex datasets, developing analytical models, identifying patterns, and translating data-driven insights into actionable business recommendations The candidate must be local to Minneapolis, MN, and have approximately 5 years of relevant experience in Data Science.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
Apply statistical methods and mathematical techniques to solve business problems.
Develop, implement, and evaluate machine learning algorithms and predictive models.
Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis.
Select appropriate algorithms based on business objectives and data characteristics.
Evaluate model performance using relevant statistical metrics and validation techniques.
Communicate analytical findings and model results to technical and business stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
Document methodologies, assumptions, results, and recommendations.
Required Skills
5+ years of hands-on Data Science experience, with a strong track record of applying statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and advanced analytical techniques to solve complex real-world business problems.
Strong understanding of data science concepts, statistical methods, and algorithms.
Knowledge of machine learning techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning.
Experience with data analysis, exploratory data analysis, and predictive modeling.
Ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable insights.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Technical Skills
Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
Experience with model validation, performance evaluation, and feature engineering.
Familiarity with data visualization and analytical reporting tools.

Ideal Candidate : A hands-on Data Scientist who understands the fundamentals of data science and algorithms, can explain the reasoning behind model selection, and has practical experience applying analytical techniques to real-world business problems.
