Location Address: 2601 Victory Avenue – hybrid – onsite 2-3/week
Contract Duration: 6 months, Possibility of extension
Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week (Possible OT)

Business group: GBME - Fixed Income US - Dallas
Project: Mortgage Capital Markets (MCM)

This is a Software developer, technical support role to support the MCM. The focus will be on the integration between the BNS upstream and downstream systems.

Typical Day in Role:
-software development

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1. 8+ years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining large-scale applications with complex integrations (experience with modern programming languages such as Java and/or Python; developing and consuming Web Services and APIs)
2. 4+ years of experience with data technologies and databases, including one or more of the following: PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Apache NiFi, Apache Kafka, Elasticsearch, with the ability to work comfortably with large datasets (experience writing, reading, and executing SQL scripts)
3. 2+ years of Experience with front-end technologies including Angular, React, and JavaScript
4.3+ years of experience with CI/CD and build automation tools such as Maven, Gradle, and Jenkins
5. 3+ years experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform, and Kubernetes
6. 3+ years of experience with test automation (includes SRE monitoring and synthetic monitoring)

Nice-To-Have Skills:
1. Previous experience working in mortgage capital markets
2. Experience using job scheduling and orchestration tools such as CRON, Tidal, or Airflow
3. Experience using application and infrastructure monitoring tools such as Dynatrace for performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident analysis
4. Experience working in an Agile environment, with a solid understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD)

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Best VS. Average Candidate:
-the ideal candidate will have strong back-end development experience, would be able to hit the ground running and have the ability to work independently
-strong production support experience

Candidate Review & Selection
2 rounds + technical assessment prior to 1st interview

Technical assessment will be sent to selected candidates, they will be invited to first interview based on results

1st – HM + IT manager – 1 hr – Teams Video – technical/design related questions
2nd – Business Team + IT manager – 1.5 hours – in-person – technical questions

In person interview will be at 2601 Victoria Ave
