Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to support a mission-focused environment supporting critical government operations. This position requires a strong Linux systems administration background, experience with virtualization and automation technologies, and the ability to operate in secure enterprise environments. Required Experience

  • Fifteen (15) years of experience as a System Administrator (SA)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university required
  • Five (5) additional years of SA experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree Required Certifications
  • Active Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M requirements, or ability to obtain within six (6) months from start date Required Technical Skills
  • Linux system administration
  • Containerization technologies
  • Storage management
  • KVM virtualization
  • Automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible and/or SALT
  • FreeIPA administration and support
  • Scripting experience using Bash, Perl, Python, or similar languages
  • SSP compliance and documentation support
  • STE/STN support experience
  • Cloud technologies and AWS experience Clearance Requirement
  • Active security clearance required Responsibilities
  • Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-based enterprise environments
  • Support virtualization, storage, and container platforms
  • Develop and maintain automation solutions for system deployment and configuration management
  • Support secure system operations in compliance with government security requirements
  • Assist with SSP documentation and compliance initiatives
  • Provide operational support for mission systems and secure communications infrastructure
  • Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams to maintain system availability and performance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting classified or mission-critical government environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced operational settings
  • Administrative experience supporting Windows Domain Controllers, Windows Server environments, and/or Microsoft Exchange is a plus
