Data Center Engineering Operations Technician (m/f/d), DC Engineering and Facility Operations, DCEO

The Role

• Responsible for the delivery of best-practice systems and problem resolution for all data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• Conduct frequent site interventions, critical switching activities, troubleshooting, and infrastructure issue resolution.
• Hands-on work with mechanical and electrical infrastructure including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, PDUs, AHUs, fire detection, and building automation systems.
• Maintain the highest standards for safety and actively promote a world-class safety culture.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts through standardization of procedures and policies.
• Ensure preventive maintenance of site-critical facility infrastructure is planned and executed to the highest standards.

What You'll Need

• Apprentice/trades certification or diploma in an Electrical/Mechanical field, or equivalent recognized training.
• Broad operational knowledge and experience with electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Data Center engineering experience or relevant job-related experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) control systems and data collection/trending is preferred.
• Good English communication skills.
