Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar, who has experience using SolidWorks, looking to join a growing and specialist company?

On offer is the opportunity to join a specialist manufacturer of liquid waste vacuum tankers and jetting equipment. The company has recently undergone a merger, allowing them to invest in advanced technology and increase their manufacturing operations.

Your role will focus on the design of liquid waste vacuum tankers and jetting equipment, playing a role in all sections of the design process. This will require modelling and drawing all components and parts which will require an understanding of hydraulics, electrics and pneumatics.

In addition, you will create and maintain bills of materials alongside liaising with other departments to ensure a smooth process.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer, with experience using SolidWorks and a background within a manufacturing environment.

The Role

• Create 2D and 3D models and detailed drawings of assemblies and components
• Review, amend and update drawings throughout the production process
• Create and maintain parts lists and Bills of Materials
• Liaise with clients and suppliers to understand and resolve technical requirements
• Work closely with the factory to ensure projects progress smoothly through manufacturing
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

The Person

• Background working as Mechanical Design Engineer, or similar, within a manufacturing environment
• Experience using SolidWorks
• Degree in relevant field
