Overview
Horton, Inc. has an opening for Parts Washer/Clutch Pack to work in our Britton, SD location. This is an hourly position with a starting wage of $23.35 per hour and depends on experience. Standard hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, with overtime, as needed.
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for washing parts to remove coolant, oil or other material that would interfere with painting or other production operations. They are also responsible for maintaining correct inventories through data entered in the business system, visually inspecting parts, assembling products, and transporting baskets of parts/units to the staging or finished goods areas. Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
1. Uses a parts washer to de-grease metal parts.
2. Records quantities of parts in productivity software and delivers loaded baskets to the stock room area or other designated area and places in proper location. Puts parts away in designated locations. Ensures parts are labeled correctly.
3. Performs assembly functions.
4. Exhibits and performs basic personal computer functions in various software systems.
5. Reworks units which fail to pass quality control checks.
6. Provides training in work methods, procedures, and work instructions to employees.
7. Performs other duties as directed by manager.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States. This job is not eligible for sponsorship.
