Cloud Solutions Architect - National Security

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Cloud Solutions Consultant to support national security customers in designing secure, scalable AWS architectures. You will engage directly with mission, engineering, and security teams to understand requirements, run discovery workshops, and translate needs into well-architected solutions. Responsibilities include leading cloud migration and modernization efforts, creating reference architectures, demos, and POCs, and guiding adoption of best practices for security, networking, automation, and cost optimization. You'll collaborate with diverse AWS teams in a fast-paced, learning-focused environment to help customers accelerate mission outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Engage national security customers to gather mission and technical requirements
• Design secure, scalable AWS architectures aligned to best practices
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives
• Develop reference architectures, demos, and proof-of-concept solutions
• Advise on security, compliance, networking, and identity for classified and sensitive workloads
• Collaborate with AWS sales, engineering, and product teams to drive adoption
• Create technical documentation, run workshops, and deliver presentations
• Support cost optimization and performance tuning of customer environments
