We are partnering with our client to hire a Senior Developer in Schaumburg, IL for a Direct Hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a Senior Developer who thrives in a project-driven modernization environment and is excited to build new functionality across core CRM/ERP platforms while accelerating AI-forward development practices. Responsibilities

  Build new functionality across our client's core CRM/ERP platforms as part of broader product modernization efforts

  
  


• 
  

  Drive adoption of AI-assisted development practices across the engineering organization

  
  


• 
  

  Architect and develop resilient backend platforms, microservices, and databases designed for high transaction volumes

  
  


• 
  

  Mentor junior and mid-level developers and contribute to a tiered team environment

  
  


• 
  

  Provide on-call support as needed to maintain and support critical systems

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  10+ years of backend development experience, including Java (Spring Boot) or C#/.NET Core

  
  


• 
  

  Experience architecting backend platforms, microservices, and databases supporting high transaction volumes

  
  


• 
  

  Background supporting payment platforms, billing infrastructure, and/or settlement/reconciliation systems

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with cloud deployments (AWS and/or Azure)

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and consistently "own" outcomes

  
  


• 
  

  Strong software engineering best practices, including patterns/designs and taking ideas through to deliverable solutions

  
  


• 
  

  Experience using AI coding tools in day-to-day development workflows
