Job Description

• We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our intelligence program in support of a key government customer located in Herndon, Virginia. The Network Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:
• Adept in network engineering, with focus on design, implementation, and management of complex networks.
• Experience with network architecture, design, and implementation in a large-scale environment.
• Proven track record of successfully resolving complex network issues and improving network performance.
• Knowledge of specific network technologies such as routing and switching.
• Knowledge of network automation.
• Knowledge of cloud networking.
• Knowledge of software-defined networking.
• Ability to brief designs to review boards.
• Knowledge of deploying MPLS networks.
• Ability to learn, understand and implement new technologies.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Eleven (11) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• In depth knowledge network architecture, design, and implementation.
• Experience with creating technical documentation such as designs, implementation plans, and technical notes. Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
