Lab Infrastructure Engineer (QA)

Lab Infrastructure Engineer Ipswich | £350 per day | 6 Month Contract | 5 Days On Site (lab based work) We're supporting a major telecommunications organisation that is investing heavily in next-generation broadband and connectivity platforms.

They are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join a highly technical engineering team responsible for developing and maintaining automated testing solutions across broadband and home networking products.

What You'll Be Doing Developing Python-based automation test scripts<br />Building and improving CPE test environments<br />Supporting broadband and home gateway product testing<br />Working within Agile delivery teams<br />Troubleshooting complex technical issues<br />Supporting continuous improvement initiatives<br />Using Git, GitLab and JIRA to support delivery Technical Requirements Strong Python experience<br />Linux administration knowledge<br />Docker and containerisation<br />Virtual machine environments<br />Git / GitLab<br />Agile and Scrum environments<br />Broadband technologies including:

FTTP<br />xDSL<br />IPv4 / IPv6<br />PPP<br />Wi-Fi<br />UPnP<br />4G / 5G<br />CPE / Home Gateway testing experience<br />RF fundamentals<br />Wireless networking expertise<br />Telecoms industry experience What You'll Get £350 per day<br />Initial 6 month contract<br />Long-term programme potential<br />Exposure to next-generation broadband technologies<br />Opportunity to work within a highly skilled engineering teamIf you're an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong Python and networking expertise, I'd be keen to speak with you.
