Delivery Rep (CDL & Non CDL) Shelby, Tipton, Fayette, Lauderdale Counties

Ajax Distributing Company is seeking a Local Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering our products to retail accounts in Shelby, Tipton, Fayette, and Lauderdale Counties. You will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive their orders in a timely and efficient manner.

As a Local Delivery Driver, your responsibilities will include:

• Load and unload products using proper handling techniques
• Deliver products to scheduled accounts in a safe and timely manner
• Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws
• Ensure accuracy of product delivery by checking invoices and verifying orders
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with customers
• Report any issues or concerns to the Dispatch Supervisor
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and on time

Requirements:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License or Valid drivers license for Non CDL
• Excellent driving record and knowledge of traffic laws
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to lift heavy products and operate manual pallet jacks
• Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
