Retail Sales Lead - Sporting Goods

House of Sport, an experiential DICK'S Sporting Goods concept, is seeking a Retail Sales Lead to drive sales, coach teammates, and deliver unforgettable in-store sports experiences. You'll oversee daily floor operations, lead by example in customer engagement, and support events, clinics, and activities on our playing fields and rock walls. Partner with leadership on merchandising, inventory, and service standards while fostering an inclusive, team-focused culture. Ideal candidates are passionate about sports, motivated by goals, and excited to connect athletes and families with the gear and experiences they love.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily retail floor operations and ensure a premium customer experience
• Drive sales by modeling strong selling behaviors and coaching teammates
• Support and participate in in-store events, clinics, and experiential activities
• Oversee merchandising standards and product presentation on the sales floor
• Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and replenishment
• Ensure accurate cash handling and POS transactions
• Collaborate with leadership on sales goals and performance tracking
• Foster an inclusive, team-oriented culture aligned with House of Sport values
