Our client, a leader in healthcare, is seeking a contract System Administrator. This is an onsite role in Livermore, CA.

Contract duration: 6 months (w/extensions)

Job Description:
Onsite - Supporting the new Distributed Order Management System (DOMS) that will be used for prescription fulfillment across the Mail Order network.

Experience Required:

• Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment actively working on the production floor.
• Problem Solving - thinking analytically to research unknown problems and request help when needed
• Documentation - Ability to create, follow, and update SOPs.

Experience Preferred:
Specific Systems Knowledge Preferred: Open Shift, Oracle, Linux, Splunk, JAVA

Education Requirements:
Required Level of Education: Typically ask is a College Degree or ~2-4 years equivalent experience in IT
Preferred Level of Education: College Degree in a Technical Field

Daily Responsibilities:

• Supporting the new Distributed Order Management System (DOMS) that will be used for prescription fulfillment across the Mail Order network.

  Supports stability, availability, and performance of enterprise systems (e.g., systems, applications, network, databases, storage, security) by monitoring systems to identify problems, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  Assists technical and project team members to resolve system problems and application-specific issues.
