The Role

• Perform procedures for recording business transaction activity within the general ledger and sub-ledgers.
• Conduct account analysis and reconciliation.
• Participate in process improvement activities and maintain organized record-keeping.
• Prepare and distribute customer invoices and statements, and communicate with customers on past due accounts.
• Handle payroll and payroll-related journal entries, consumable inventory accounting, and accounting for prepaids and accruals.
• Support month-end close activities.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting with two years of experience, or five years of experience as a Staff Accountant.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Solid knowledge of accounting processes, technology systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop strong working relationships across departments.
• Capacity to work effectively under tight deadlines.
