Azure DevOps Consultant

Introduction:

As an Azure DevOps Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. You will play a key role in configuring and managing Azure DevOps Services, developing automated build and deployment pipelines, and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. Your expertise in Azure, CI/CD, and DevOps principles will be essential in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of deployment processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Configure and manage Azure DevOps Services, including Boards, Repos, Pipelines, and Artifacts.
• Develop and maintain automated build, release, and deployment pipelines.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
• Manage Azure cloud infrastructure and deployment environments.
• Automate application and infrastructure deployment processes.
• Implement source control, branching, pull requests, and code management best practices using Git/Azure Repos.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar scripting technologies.
• Implement DevSecOps practices, including security scanning, vulnerability management, and compliance controls within CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor application and infrastructure deployments and troubleshoot deployment issues.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, infrastructure teams, and security teams to improve deployment reliability and efficiency.
• Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and operational best practices across Azure environments.
• Document DevOps processes, architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and support for DevOps modernization and cloud migration initiatives.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of overall IT experience
• 5+ years of hands-on Azure DevOps experience
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Services
• Strong experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Git and Azure Repos
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Strong knowledge of Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep
• Experience with PowerShell and/or Azure CLI
• Strong understanding of DevOps, Agile, and CI/CD practices
• Experience with cloud deployment automation and configuration management
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Atleast one relevant Microsoft Azure/DevOps certification required.
