Duties
- You will serve as the Research, Development, Test and Evaluation network technical expert and consultant in the areas of advanced classified and unclassified network architecture.
- You will set technical requirements and external interface hardware and software, being responsible for ensuring the network infrastructure stays at the leading edge of classified and unclassified information technology.
- You will be a technical expert in the field of network architectures to support real-time simulation.
- You will be responsible for the technical and cost requirements when future proposals are being developed to upgrade. Requirements Conditions of employment

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code System Administrator, proficiency level basic the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required.
A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing. Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-04 grade level or GS-11/12 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing enterprise Windows server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP management, patching, security configuration, and troubleshooting at a senior level; 2) Demonstrating the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to serve as a senior Windows System Administrator; 3) Exhibiting expertise in field of network architecture to support real-time simulation and field of cryptography to support classified distributed simulations.
