Role Overview
The Junior Accountant role is an entry-level position that supports our agency's Accounting Department. The ideal candidate should be detail oriented and accountable, able to follow agency policies and procedures, enjoy working as a part of a team and eager to learn and grown in their career. Your key responsibilities may include:

• Daily bookkeeping with an emphasis on deposit processing
• Recording and reconciling incoming funds across various payment types (EPAY batches, wires, ACH payments, physical checks) from clients and vendors
• Assisting to keep accounts balanced and accurate
• Performing reconciliations, updating accounts receivable, and issuing invoices
• Processing financial entries to ensure a proper recording of all business transactions
• Updating financial data in databases to ensure the accuracy of the information
• Preparing and submitting monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1-3 years work experience in Accounting
• Insurance industry experience is a bonus
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Excel
• Must be able to work on-site in Miami, FL

• $40,000 Annual Salary
