Job description

Project Manager - Website Modernization Project Lead

Client: State of Mississippi

Location: Onsite in Jackson, MS (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 hrs/week). Relocation candidates are welcome.

Contract: C2C / W2. Start: ASAP. End: 10/2027.

Work authorization: Any valid US work authorization.

Pay: $78/hr W2 or $85/hr C2C.

Overview: Day-to-day execution lead for a state government website rebuild (Drupal) working with the vendor, Tyler Technologies. Duties include content strategy and information architecture, content migration, QA/UAT/launch, ADA Title II / WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, web governance framework, SOPs and change management, stakeholder workshops and weekly status reporting.

Required skills:

- Multiple full lifecycles of large website redesigns (100+ pages, multi-stakeholder)

- Public-sector / government website redesign experience

- Managing external technology vendors (e.g., Tyler Technologies / Drupal)

- Hands-on website implementation and content migration

- ADA Title II and WCAG knowledge

- Web governance, content workflows and digital change management

- Stakeholder engagement and communication

Preferred:

- Medicaid / health and human services experience

- PMP or CPACC certification

- Smartsheet
