Help Us Drive Safety Across Our Logistics and Waste Operations
Are you passionate about health and safety and looking for a role where you can make a real impact?
We're looking for a proactive and motivated Health & Safety Advisor to support our Logistics and Waste Management divisions. Working closely with managers, drivers, operational teams and site personnel, you'll help maintain high safety standards, drive compliance and promote a positive health and safety culture across our business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with health and safety experience who enjoys being out in the operation, building relationships and supporting teams to work safely and effectively.
What You'll Be Doing
Conducting site inspections, audits and workplace safety assessments.
Providing practical health and safety advice and support to operational teams.
Investigating accidents, incidents and near misses and helping implement corrective actions.
Supporting the development of risk assessments and safe systems of work.
Delivering toolbox talks, safety briefings and awareness campaigns.
Monitoring compliance with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
Producing health and safety reports and performance data.
Promoting a positive and proactive safety culture across all sites and depots.
What We're Looking For
Essential
Experience within logistics, transport, waste management or recycling operations.
NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
Good understanding of current UK health and safety legislation.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
IOSH Membership (or working towards).
Experience delivering training and toolbox talks.
Knowledge of ISO management systems.
