Job Description

Role: Security Operations Manager

Location: Cleveland, OH (This role would require the candidate to work onsite once a month so we would prefer local or nearby located candidates who can manage without having to travel)


Note : This role would require a balance of technical expertise in SOC operations, incidence response and operational experience and technical team leadership.

 

Role Responsibilities

·        Provides direct supervision to a large team of operational, production, sales, service or administrative team members, or a small staff of professional-level team members.

·        Work is guided by operational and project objectives.

·        Sets and communicates clear expectations for work outcomes and manages performance.

·        Manages a staff of professional-level team members or manages a team through lower-level supervisors.

·        Works within general policies and management guidance, independently determining approach to managing daily operations.

·        Provides guidance and technical advice, becoming actively involved as necessary.

·        Develops, modifies and executes company policies that affect Company operations(s) across a small geographical area.

·        Develops, implements and maintains security procedures to meet business requirements.

·        Analyzes, investigates and recommends process improvements related to loss control and incident reports.

·        Manages and is accountable for the Security budget for the operations across a small geographic area.

 

Role Requirements

·        Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 

·        Graduate degree preferred.

·        Strong knowledge of industrial security programs and the ability to identify and evaluate policies and procedures to compliment the business objectives while protecting company personnel and assets.

·        Certified Protection Professional or Certified Fraud Examiner or equivalent internationally recognized qualification.

 

Typical Years of Experience

·        Typically requires 10-12 years relevant experience.

·        Includes 3-5 years managerial/ leadership experience.

 

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

·        Ability to physically perform general office requirements.

·        Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
