Inventory Planner, Baby & Child

RH is seeking an Inventory Planner to own the inventory strategy and investment that brings our Baby & Child product vision to life. In this role you will develop and execute financial and inventory plans that put our products in the right place at the right time, maximizing availability, driving revenue and delivering on our promise to the customer. The ideal candidate has a strong point of view and can see beyond the numbers to identify opportunities, anticipate risk and make decisions that move the business forward.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
   •    Own pre-season and in-season inventory plans across department, subclass, collection and SKU, translating product and business strategies into sales, inventory and receipt investments.
   •    Develop collection- and SKU-level sales plans, investment quantities and flow forecasts, balancing opportunity, inventory productivity and customer demand.
   •    Partner closely with Merchandising to bring the product vision to life, influencing assortment and inventory strategies that maximize the potential of our most important collections and SKUs.
   •    Drive the open-to-buy process, continually evaluating sales, inventory, receipts and rate of sale to identify opportunities and risks and recommend decisive actions to senior leadership.
   •    Manage inventory investments and the flow of goods throughout the season, adjusting receipt strategies and partnering with vendors to maximize availability while maintaining disciplined inventory ownership.
   •    Anticipate changes in demand and take action to maximize in-stocks, revenue and inventory productivity across our digital and Gallery businesses.

OUR REQUIREMENTS
   •    4+ years of retail merchandise planning, inventory planning or allocation experience, with direct ownership of sales, inventory, receipt and open-to-buy plans; multi-channel retail experience ia plus.
   •    Deep understanding of retail merchandise planning, including assortment and SKU planning, inventory investment, open-to-buy, rate of sale, receipt flow and inventory productivity.
   •    Able to make commercial inventory decisions at the collection and SKU level, balancing product vision, customer demand, revenue opportunity and inventory risk.
   •    Merchant mindset with exceptional business judgment and ability to see the story behind the numbers, develop a point of view and translate insights into action.
   •    Demonstrated collaborative approach to partnering with Merchandising and influencing senior leaders through clear, compelling recommendations.
   •    Advanced Excel capabilities and the ability to quickly learn and leverage planning systems, paired with exceptional organization, attention to detail and the ability to move with speed.
