Electrical Engineer
📍 Location: Duluth, MN
📅 Duration: 12+ Months Contract

High-Level Description

The Senior Electrical Engineer will oversee electrical design for capital projects, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards. This role manages third-party engineering deliverables, coordinates with internal teams, and ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Accountabilities

Develop project scope, schedules, and cost estimates.
Ensure designs meet regulatory and corporate standards.
Oversee and review electrical design deliverables.
Evaluate vendor bids and support material procurement.
Provide technical support during construction phases.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to departmental initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
10+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience.
Expertise in 480V systems, motor controls, VFDs, medium voltage switchgear, and power distribution.
Strong knowledge of power industry standards.
Professional Engineer (PE) designation.
