Contract Role: Lead SAP MES Consultant

A premier global technology enterprise is seeking an experienced Lead SAP MES Consultant to serve as the primary US technical and functional lead for site-wide digital transformation initiatives.

• Contract Duration: Nov 2026 Dec 2027 (High likelihood of extension for future multi-site rollouts)

• Location: Hybrid (Chandler, AZ highly preferred: 2 days/week on-site, full-time during go-lives. Open to West Coast candidates with periodic travel)

• Status: W-2 Contract with full benefits (401k match, health/dental/vision)

Key Responsibilities

• Site Leadership: Act as the primary technical lead, functional liaison, and operational voice for the US plant digitalization.

• Requirements & Design: Facilitate interactive business process workshops; convert shop-floor requirements into functional specs for SAP DM/DMC.

• Partner Alignment: Oversee external system integrators to evaluate technical deliverables, ensuring compliance with global architectural standards.

• Cross-Border Collaboration: Partner with global Enterprise Architects to deploy and execute localized core system frameworks.

• Integration & Adoption: Connect plant-floor operational technology (PLCs, OPC-UA, SAP PCo) with SAP S/4HANA/ERP engines while steering site-level change management and hypercare.

Qualifications

• Core Expertise: 5+ years of MES implementation experience in complex manufacturing environments (SAP DM, DMC, or hands-on SAP ME/MII).

• Technical Integration: Deep working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or ERP execution modules, plus shop-floor OT connectivity (PCo, OPC-UA).

• Vendor Steering: Proven track record directing Tier-1 consulting partners and managing cross-functional global stakeholders.

• Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
