Legal Counsel - Debt Capital Markets - Larson Maddox

A leading international financial institution is seeking a junior lawyer to join its EMEA legal team, supporting a broad range of debt capital markets activities across multiple jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities

• Advise on a broad range of debt capital markets transactions and related financing structures.
• Draft, review and negotiate transaction documentation.
• Support the structuring and launch of new products and strategic business initiatives.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders on legal, regulatory and documentation issues.
• Manage external counsel relationships and legal spend.
• Deliver legal and regulatory training to internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to legal and regulatory projects impacting the capital markets business.

Required Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with approximately 1-5 years' PQE.
• Experience gained within a leading law firm and/or a major financial institution.
• Strong technical knowledge of debt capital markets transactions.
• Commercially minded with a practical approach to legal risk.
• Ability to build relationships with both legal and non-legal stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
