Technologist, MRI PD - MRI - Mullica Hill

Core competencies will be assessed primarily on the following patient populations(s) served:  Cardiac/cardiovascular, mammary, GI, endocrine, renal, skeletal conditions and diseases including but not limited to:  CAD, PVD, CVA/TIA, COPD, CHF, Oncology, etc.  

Produces MRI images of designated anatomical areas as ordered/directed by a licensed physician or practitioner, according to established practices and procedures.

Education & Experience:

• Accredited program in Radiologic Technology and training in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
• Two (2) years as a staff MRI technologist preferred.

Certification/Licensure:   

• New Jersey license and ARRT preferred.
• MRI certification within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certified required. 
• IV course completion or within 90 days of hire.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Knowledge of proper examination sequencing and preparations as appropriate to the ages of the patients served (neonate, pediatric, adult or geriatric).

Physical Requirements:     

• Lifts heavy objects.
• Subject to potential electrical and magnetic hazards.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and car insurance.
• Able to travel between sites as required.
