Job Title: Project/Program Manager

Location: US – Canada Remote

Duration: Long term Contract

 Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of contract project managers to successfully execute and deliver a portion of the Consumer group portfolio
• Partner with business, product and IT senior leaders and stakeholders to pro-actively manage and align on project delivery status and mitigate escalations
• Take ownership of program and project budgets and managing overall delivery
• Provide project management and direction to ensure the project team has a clear understanding of timelines, risks, escalation path and roles/responsibilities they will undertake within the project team.
• Act as an escalation point for the project team and project stakeholders to manage risks, develop mitigation plans and path to green throughout the project.
• Proactively manage change control and communicate impact in project scope, identify issues, and devise contingency plans.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths while maintaining accurate project plans with real-time milestone, task, and project health data.

Qualifications:

• 10+ consecutive years’ experience in Program/Project Management with a Telecommunications company
• Proven track record of managing complex telecom projects from initiation to completion
• Familiarity with different telecom technologies like Fiber Optics, wireless networks and data infrastructure
• Expertise in telecom protocols and standards
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
• Knowledge of budgeting and cost control practices
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong decision-making skills under pressure
