The Role

• Provide in-person, remote, or hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, planning and delivering tailored, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Work with local authorities and schools to meet the specific educational needs of learners.
• Report on lesson progress and provide regular feedback on student development.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, with a preference for experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity with teaching core subjects: English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and two professional references.
• Understanding of safeguarding principles and creating a safe learning environment.
• Must be based in the UK with the right to work.
